LONDON BRIDGE WOOLSHED

Public BBQ

London Bridge Woolshed proved delightful NSW bush surprise. 1.8-kilometre historic arch walk winds through beautifully preserved countryside where spotted hairy-nosed wombats shuffling along creek, cheeky kangaroos weren't far behind. BBQ facilities properly maintained, toilets mercifully clean for remote spot. Historic buildings add genuine character to what could easily be just another picnic area. Bush walks branch several directions perfect for working off hearty barbie lunch. Note gates close 5pm sharp so plan accordingly if bringing 4WD. Families find plenty keeping everyone occupied though wildlife encounters alone make journey worthwhile. Proper Aussie day out.
